Dr. Rokiah Hassan is passionate into composting and organic gardening. Her passion is none other than turning kitchen waste into compost for the garden. Armed with a deep interest in biotechnology and greentechnology, Rokiah travelled extensively and carryout R&D to make food waste composting possible for Malaysians. She then innovated a convenient and effective system called SMART HERITAGE, managed to develop a Food Waste Composting set, a complete set to produce liquid and solid compost within 3 – 4 weeks only. She introduced to the Malaysian market 19 years ago, every year the demand keep-on increasing and thousands of people have learned from her virtually or physically.

Since then, Dr.Rokiah Hassan has been spreading the word on responsible kitchen was disposal and recycling. To take the Green Initiative which are zero waste and grow your own food even further, she actively promoting using social media and create an informal e-advisory platform called GREEN POGHAK , where the public can interact with her at any time about how to produce quality compost and growing organic food. Beside her dedicated staff, she is also assisted by a technical team called Green Ambassador, a group of well-trained students from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) and Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT).
